Study Area
One important goal of the Feasibility Study is to determine the boundaries of the Heritage Area if designation is pursued.
The Heritage Initiative is beginning the Feasibility Study focusing on key communities throughout the St. Croix River watershed — the region defined by rivers and lakes that ultimately drain into the St. Croix.
A Heritage Area is defined as a region that shares the same story or stories. For that reason, the study area and the boundary of a proposed Heritage Area may ultimately differ.
